Balanced Kids Member Benefits

Waived Travel Fees

Each child on the membership receives two travel credits per calendar month (from the 1st to the last day of the month).

Each travel credit waives the full travel fee for one in-home visit.

Need flexibility?

Travel credits can be shared between siblings within the same month.
For example: if one child needs four visits and the other needs none, the unused credits from the healthy child can be used for the sick sibling.

If your family uses more than two credits per child (or shared among siblings) in a single month, standard travel fees will apply for any additional in-home visits.

Credits do NOT roll over into the next month — they reset on the 1st.

Virtual visits never impact travel fees — they’re always travel-fee FREE.

Unlimited Talk/Text Support

As a Balanced Kids member, you’ll always have unlimited talk and text access with Dr. Sarah.

If your child’s symptoms change after a visit — we’ve got you. That doesn’t mean another appointment or another bill. We’ll provide guidance and help you decide what comes next.

Included Lab Tests

How Lab Testing Works for Balanced Kids Members

Balanced Kids does not draw blood on-site.
When a lab is needed, the order is placed through Fullscript. Fullscript then sends you an email where you choose the lab location and appointment time that works best for your family (Labcorp, Quest, etc.).

Flu, strep, RSV, and COVID-19 testing ARE included and available for in-home on the spot testing as these do not require a blood draw.

What Labs Are Included at No Cost to You

Balanced Kids fully covers all routine childhood screening labs recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), such as:

Hemoglobin
Lead
Cholesterol
And other standard AAP-recommended screenings

These labs are processed through Fullscript. This includes the cost of the lab and the lab draw fee ($10).

Labs Outside of AAP Guidelines

If your child needs additional labs that are not part of the AAP routine screening schedule:

Balanced Kids covers up to $20 per lab draw, which includes:
- The $10 Fullscript lab draw fee
- Plus an additional $10 allowance toward the cost of that lab
Any amount beyond the $20 allowance is the member’s responsibility.

Optional In-Home Blood Draws

Depending on your area, Fullscript has an option to select an in-home blood draw, you may choose that service; however, the in-home draw fee is paid directly by your family and are not included in the Balanced Kids membership.

In-Home Medications - COVERED

In-Home Medications — Fast Relief, No Extra Cost

Believe it or not, many single-dose medications are surprisingly affordable — which is why we include them with your home visit when medically indicated.

This ensures your child gets immediate relief while you wait for your prescription to be filled.

All medications administered during an in-home visit are included in your membership — no surprise charges, ever.

Examples include:

Nebulizer treatments (Albuterol, Racemic Epinephrine, Hypertonic Saline)
Zofran for nausea or vomiting
Steroids (e.g., Decadron)
Antipyretics (Ibuprofen, Acetaminophen)
Other in-office, single-dose medications as needed

Same Day Sick Visits

Balanced Kids offers same-day sick visits Monday through Friday, because we know kids don’t get sick on a schedule. These visits are the heart of what we do — our bread and butter!

Same day & weekend appointments are booked by direct text to Balanced Kids (651) 758-3184.

If our schedule ever fills up, members always receive priority access thanks to their priority scheduling benefits — ensuring your child is seen quickly and cared for when it matters most.

Sick after-hours or on the weekend? Shoot us a text! More often than not we have same day availability, and if not, definitely next day.

Membership Pricing

At Balanced Kids, we believe quality healthcare should be affordable and predictable — no surprise bills, no insurance confusion.

Pricing starts at $150 per month for your first child.

Second child: 20% off
Third child: 30% off
Fourth (and beyond): 40% off

We cap family pricing because every family deserves care that’s sustainable, no matter the size.

Payment Options

Choose the plan that works best for your family’s needs:

Standard Plan
- 1 child = $150/month
- 2 children = $270/month
- 3 children = $375/month
- 4 or more children = $465/month
Monthly to Month Plan
- Pay month-to-month for flexibility — simply add 50% to the base rate.
Annual Plan
- Pay for 12 months upfront and receive a 20% discount on your total annual cost.
Six-Month Plan
- Pay upfront for six months and receive a 10% discount.

After your first year, all memberships automatically continue month-to-month at your original locked-in rate — no unexpected price increases.
